As a fast-acting medication, Piriton allergy relief provides relief from allergy symptoms fifteen minutes to half an hour after taking it. If you've taken a dosage but still have an itchy rash, runny nose, or any other symptoms, it's best to see a doctor for stronger allergy relief medicines.

Adults and children over 12 can take one tablet every four to six hours, consuming no more than six tablets in 24 hours. Children aged 6 to 12 can take half a tablet every four to six hours, with a maximum of three tablets in 24 hours.

If you miss a dose of Piriton, you can take a Piriton tablet ASAP. If you’re close to the next dose, it’s best to wait until then. That way, you can keep up with your regular schedule.
