Plum Neutralizing Eye Rinse is an effective phosphate buffer that has a neutralizing effect on acids and a wide range of alkaline substances. This solution is a first aid tool for rinsing the eyes with a rinsing time of 2 minutes.
The purpose of rinsing with pH Neutral is to restore the pH to a safe level as quickly as possible if acids or alkaline substances have come into contact with the eye or skin. Keep in mind, that when rinsing with plain water or 0.9% sodium chloride solution, only a dilution and rinsing effect is achieved. Then larger amounts and longer rinsing times are required (see also chart neutralizing effect).
