Properties
The atlas cedar is native to North Africa. Long ago it grew in the wild in Europe. It tolerates the cold very well and it is more slender and taller than the Lebanese cedar. Its needles are bluish, its branches are ascending and shorter compared to those of other cedar species; its bark is silvery gray and flakes off with aging; it bears cones 6 cm long.
- Aromatic molecules: himachalenes, atlantones.
- Distilled part: wood.
Use instructions
Massage: dilute a few drops in a vegetable oil and apply to the skin.
- Use on the skin.
- Air diffusion.
Recommendations
- Highly discouraged in patients with estrogen-dependent cancer.
- Keep out of the reach of young children.
- Do not use during pregnancy, when breastfeeding and in children under 3 years of age.
- Store in a dry place, sheltered from light and heat.
