Laurel was very well known in ancient times and was used for the coronation of victors and in the kitchen for spice bouquets. Laurel produces a very remarkable essential oil that is still underused in aromatherapy. The tree, native to the Mediterranean, has a dark gray bark and bears smooth, shiny dark green leaves that are lighter underneath.
- Aromatic molecules: 1.8 cineole.
- Distilled part: leaf.
Use directions
2 drops 3 times daily on a neutral carrier (honey, cane sugar, vegetable oil).
- Oral intake.
- Use on the skin.
- Air diffusion.
