The lemon originates from India, is grown in Southern Europe and California and is one of the most widely used fruits in natural medicine. The extract is obtained by cold-pressing the outer part of the peel. It takes about 3,000 lemons to obtain 1 kg of extract. The extract neutralizes the Eberth bacillus and staphylococcus within 5 minutes, the Loeffer bacillus (diphtheria) within 20 minutes.
