Properties
The Scots pine produces an essential oil long known by our grandmothers for its soothing effect on the bronchi when inhaled. It likes the mountainous, sandy or gravelly soil and has a purple-gray bark, firm needle-shaped leaves, yellow male flowers and red female flowers and as a fruit an egg-shaped cone that is first green and then brown.
- Aromatic molecules: pinene, limonene, δ-3-carene.
- Distilled part: needle.
Use directions
2 drops 3 times a day on a neutral carrier (honey, cane sugar, vegetable oil).
- Oral intake.
- Use on the skin (caution should be exercised).
- Air diffusion.
