Properties
Rosemary, cineolic, is a small shrub that grows in the North African garrigue on the Mediterranean coast. It has linear, tough, evergreen leaves with parallel edges rolled downward. It has bluish, sometimes white flowers. Cineol-containing rosemary produces an essential oil very similar to that of eucalyptus radiata and ravintsara. Therefore, the oil is used for the same indications and is combined with one of these two to obtain a stronger synergistic effect.
- Aromatic molecules: 1.8 cineole.
- Distilled part: flowering top.
