Pure Globe’s reusable surgical mouth mask has three layers and is made of 100% polyester. The mask is washable at 90°C and its quality is guaranteed up to 100 washes. The mask complies with European standard EN14683 Type I and is used to reduce the risk of spreading infections.

Use instructions

• Wash your hands carefully with soap and water or a hydroalcoholic solution before touching the mask.
• Use the ear loops to put the mask on.
• Make sure that the mask covers your mouth and nose well and fits nicely (no gaps between mask and face).
• Press the integrated nose bar at the top against the nose.
• Don’t touch the inside.
• Wear the mask continuously for a maximum of 8 hours. When taking it off, do so from back to front without touching the front of the mask.
• Wash the mask daily at (at least) 60°C, but preferably at 90°C. The mask may be washed with other textiles using a cooking program.
• Please perform a visual check after each wash. If damaged, the mask should be discarded.
• Store oral masks in a clean, sealed place.

Recommendations

• Keep to the basic rules: wash or disinfect hands regularly and keep your distance. Do not touch your face, even if you are wearing a mouth mask. When you do touch the mask, wash your hands each time with soap and water or a hydroalcoholic solution.
• Masks provide additional protection only if they are used correctly and if the essential precautions are applied unabated.
• Do NOT use a cloth mouth mask as self-protection to get close to an infected person or to care for that person.
• Substance mouth masks are NOT a substitute for proper hand hygiene nor for keeping a sufficient distance (at least 1.5 meters) from other people.
