The Aequi Flex ankle brace is an effective ankle brace that provides a good balance between powerful mechanical support of the unstable ankle and wearing comfort. The rigid support is located only on the medial side (inside) of the ankle and has a cutout for the ankle knob. On the outside of the ankle, the brace consists of a comfortable and elastic foam that easily adapts to the individual shape of the ankle.

The brace is constructed so that the core is rigid and the edges are flexible, which improves fit and wearing comfort. The brace is closed by a diagonal strap. The elastic straps apply pressure around the ankle.

The Push Med Aequi Flex can be used for functional treatment of ankle injuries and for long-term use in chronic instability. The inversion-eversion movement (outward and inward tilting of the foot) is restricted, while plantar-dorsal flexion (bending and stretching) is left free to a sufficient degree, so that no hindrance is experienced when rolling off the foot. The numbering affixed to the straps allows for easy application of the brace.

Recommendations
