RespoSorb® Super is a very soft and superabsorbent sterile dressing consisting of 4 layers of different materials that does not stick in the wound, for effective drainage of heavily exudative wounds. RespoSorb® Super is ideally suited for the treatment of superficial, heavily exudative, acute or chronic wounds (e.g. bedsores, open leg, ulcerated tumors, etc.)
- One layer of hydrophilic non-woven viscose/polyamide to prevent the pad from sticking to the wound.
- A layer of hydrophilic cellulose to disperse the exudate evenly.
- A superabsorbent layer of cellulose flakes mixed with superabsorbent poymeres of polyacrylate that absorb and retain the exudate.
- An outer layer of non-woven in polypropylene, colored green and hydrophobic, but permeable to air and gas.
