Properties

Recommended for:

• Chronic renal insufficiency (CNI). –
• To prevent recurrent urolithiasis requiring alkalization of the urine: urate stones, cystine stones. –
• For the prevention of recurrent oxalate stones in dogs with impaired renal function.

Not suitable for:

• Pregnancy, lactation, growth.
• Pancreatitis or history of pancreatitis.
• Hyperlipidemia.

Duration of treatment:

The dietary food should be prescribed for at least 6 months. During this period, regular monitoring of the patient is necessary. If the kidneys have lost 3/4 of their function, the condition is irreversible and dietary therapy will have to be maintained throughout the dog’s remaining life.

Ingredients

Rice, cornmeal, animal fats, isolated soy protein, corn gluten, hydrolysed animal protein, beet pulp, mineral salts, egg powder, fish oil, Fructo-Oligo-Saccharides (FOS), vegetable fiber, soybean oil, L-arginine, potassium citrate, taurine, green tea extract (source of polyphenols), extract of Indian rose (rich in lutein), L-tryptophan.
