This indwelling catheter gets its name from the sandwich structure of the material: silicone layer on the outside – a latex core – silicone layer on the inside = SiLaSil. The SiLaSil Plus catheter combines the favorable properties of both materials, making it very comfortable and cost-effective for standard use.
