Sedergine Forte is a medicine for pain, fever and certain inflammations. Sedergine Forte is indicated in the symptomatic treatment of fever and pain.

How to use

• Always use Sedergine Forte exactly as described in the package insert. If in doubt, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
• The effervescent tablets should be dissolved in a glass of water and then drunk. Treatment should be as short as possible and limited to the symptomatic period.
• A 4-hour interval should be observed between two intakes of 325 or 500 mg. In moderate renal insufficiency or after a dose of 1 g, at least 6 hours should elapse between two consecutive intakes.

Dosage

• Adults and children weighing more than 40 kg (about 12 years): mild to moderate pain and fever: 1 to 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours, as needed. Do not exceed 8 tablets per 24 hours.
• Elderly persons: mild to moderate pain and fever: the doses recommended for adults may be administered.

Composition

The active substance in Sedergine is acetylsalicylic acid. Each tablet contains 1 g of acetylsalicylic acid. The other substances are sodium hydrogen carbonate, anhydrous citric acid, potassium benzoate, anhydrous lactose, aspartame (E951), polyvidone, crospovidone, orange flavoring (contains sulfur dioxide (E220)).
