Strepfen 8.75 mg Orange without Sugar | 24 lozenges

Strepfen Orange is used to relieve symptoms of sore throat such as sore throat, pain and swelling of the throat and difficulty swallowing in adults and children older than 12, for a short period of time. These lozenges contain flurbiprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory properties.

How to use

Always use Strepfen Orange exactly as described in the package insert or as told to you by your doctor or pharmacist. The recommended dose for adults and children 12 years of age and older is 1 lozenge every three to six hours, as needed. Do not use more than 5 lozenges per 24 hours.

When should you not use Strepfen Orange?

You should not use Strepfen Orange if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to flurbiprofen or to any of the substances in this medicine, if you have had a stomach or duodenal ulcer or bleeding, if you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy, or if you have severe heart, kidney or liver insufficiency. Refer to the package insert for a complete list of situations in which you should not use Strepfen.

Possible side effects

Like any medicine, Strepfen Orange can have side effects, although not everyone gets them. Possible side effects include dizziness, headache, irritation of the throat, mouth sores or pain in the mouth, sore throat, discomfort or unusual feeling in the mouth, nausea and diarrhea, tingling and itching of the skin.
