Properties

Tegaderm Film is a transparent sterile film dressing to cover and protect the catheter insertion site and wounds, to maintain a moist environment to accelerate wound healing and to fix devices to the skin. The waterproof, sterile barrier protects the intravenous insertion site or wound from external contaminants such as bacteria, viruses, blood and body fluids.

• The breathable film allows oxygen to enter and expels water vapor.
• The application frame ensures accurate and easy positioning and makes the dressing less likely to stick to gloves or to itself.
• The transparent dressing ensures that the IV insertion site is constantly visible.
• Can be worn for up to 7 days.
