Tegaderm I.V. is a transparent sterile dressing that can be used to protect insertion sites and fix the catheter. The waterproof, sterile barrier protects the insertion site from external contaminants such as bacteria, viruses, blood and body fluids.
- The transparent film allows monitoring of the insertion site without the need to remove the dressing.
- The breathable film allows oxygen to enter and expels water vapor.
- The application frame ensures accurate and easy positioning and makes the dressing less likely to stick to gloves or themselves.
- The frame concept allows the dressing to be applied with one hand, with less waste. Non-adhesive tabs make it easy to apply the dressing.
- The notches in the design provide a better seal around the catheter.
- Wearing time of up to 7 days.
