Tilman Urocystil 400 mg | 42 tablets

Urocystil is a traditional herbal medicine containing bearberry extract. It is used in adult women to relieve symptoms of mild urinary tract infection, such as a burning sensation when urinating and the repeated urge to urinate.

How to use

The recommended dose for adult women is 2 tablets 3 times a day. The tablets should be taken with a large glass of water. The duration of treatment should not exceed one week unless on medical advice. If symptoms persist after 4 days of treatment while using Urocystil, inform your doctor or pharmacist.

Composition

The active substance in this drug is bearberry leaf dry extract. Each tablet contains 400 mg dry extract of Arctostaphylos uva-ursi (L.) Spreng., folium (bearberry leaf) (3.5-5.5:1), corresponding to 64-96 mg arbutin.

Warnings

Urocystil is not recommended for men, children and adolescents under 18 years of age, unless on medical advice. If symptoms worsen or if you develop symptoms such as fever, difficulty urinating, painful cramps or blood in the urine, consult your doctor or pharmacist immediately. When using Urocystil, your urine may turn a greenish-brown color. This is a normal occurrence caused by one of Urocystil’s ingredients.

Possible side effects

Like any drug, Urocystil can have side effects, although not everyone gets them. Cases of nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain have been reported. The frequency is unknown.
