Unicough contains three active ingredients: diphenhydramine hydrochloride, ammonium chloride and levomenthol.
Diphenhydramine hydrochloride is an antihistamine with antihistamine, antitussive, and anticholinergic effects, which help suppress the desire to cough. Also, it dries up mucus in your chest and nose. Ammonium chloride (an expectorant) loosens mucus and catarrh, while levomenthol soothes congestion and discomfort, also offering a cooling effect in the mouth and throat.
