Venoruton Forte is indicated for the short-term treatment of internal hemorrhoids in combination with other medications.
How to use
- For symptoms associated with chronic venous insufficiency (poor circulation or persistent reduced flow in the legs), the recommended starting dose is 2 tablets per day. This starting dose should be maintained for up to 12 weeks. After complete relief of symptoms, treatment may be discontinued or continued as maintenance treatment with 1 tablet of Venoruton Forte 500 mg daily. Maintenance treatment should not exceed 3 months.
- For symptoms associated with hemorrhoids, the recommended dosage is 2 tablets daily. Treatment time is 1 to a maximum of 4 weeks. When symptoms have disappeared you may discontinue treatment.
Composition
The active substance in Venoruton Forte is O-(ß-hydroxyaethyl)-rutosidea (HR) 500 mg. The other substances in this drug are: polyethylene glycol and magnesium stearate.
Warnings
Do not use Venoruton Forte if you are allergic to any of the substances in this medicine. Do not use this medicine for more than 3 months without consulting your doctor. Contact your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if you have fluid retention (edema) of the lower extremities due to heart disease, kidney disease or liver disease.
