Properties

Epi-Otic is used in dogs and cats for the prevention of otitis externa or prior to the administration of an ear product to treat otitis externa (inflammation of the skin of the ear canal). The ear cleanser Epi-Otic is very well tolerated and is specially formulated for the prevention or support of the treatment of otitis externa in dogs and cats. Epi-Otic’s unique formulation is based on the complementary action of its primary ingredients, which enhance its cleansing properties.

Active ingredients

• Salicylic acid in combination with sodium inducosate provides both removal of cellular debris and excess ear wax and drying of the ear canal.
• The PCMX in combination with EDTA contributes to restoring the microbial balance of the ear canal.
• The exclusive combination of monosaccharides has a soothing effect and limits the adhesion of microorganisms to the skin surface.

How to use

• Turn open the white cap and apply a generous amount of Epi-Otic into the ear canal
• Then gently massage the base of the ear and remove the excess liquid with a cotton ball
