Wild About Honey Raw Honey Serra da Estrela Mountain is a rich, very dark, syrupy, malty, exquisitely balanced honey. This is a raw oak honey of unique complexity. The honey comes from the region of Guarda in northern Portugal, just east of the majestic Serra da Estrela Mountains. These forests are covered with oaks (“Carvalho”) and chestnuts (“Castanheiro”), as well as wild forest flowers and wild berry bushes, all of which have contributed to the unique character of this honey.
