Zineryt lotion is a topical treatment for acne. It has two active ingredients that work together to prevent and control outbreaks. Erythromycin is an antibiotic that inhibits the growth and spread of bacteria, whilst zinc is a mineral that contains healing properties. You should not combine Zineryt with other oral antibiotic acne treatments as combination treatments may actually make the acne worse.
However, Zineryt can be used along with other acne creams; however, this is not usually necessary.
Slight redness and irritation of the treated area can occur when you use Zineryt for the first time. This is not usually serious and typically subsides within a week.
You can reduce skin irritation by applying smaller amounts of lotion on the affected area until this wears off.
Zineryt is usually prescribed by the online doctor for a minimum of 10-12 weeks to treat acne.
After three months, you should be able to tell if this acne treatment has helped to improve your skin and then make a decision as to whether to continue or try another treatment.
Using Zineryt for short periods may not show the full effects of the treatment.
Zineryt can temporarily worsen redness on your skin. However, after the course of treatment, the overall reduction in acne can help with reducing inflammation of the skin too.
Drinking alcohol will not affect the treatment, but it could make your skin worse if alcohol usually triggers your outbreaks. To manage acne symptoms, limit alcohol consumption until your skin shows signs of improvement.
If you find treatment with Zineryt successful and your acne improves, you can slowly discontinue treatment after 12 weeks.
Do not stop treatment abruptly, as this can cause symptoms to return.

If you stop using Zineryt and your acne comes back, you may restart treatment at any point.
