Alopexy 2% Solution | 3 x 60 ml

Alopexy is a solution for cutaneous use and is indicated for moderate hair loss (androgenetic alopecia) in adult men and women.

How to use

• Twice a day, morning and evening, apply 1 ml of solution to the balding scalp, starting from the center of the area to be treated.
• Using fingertips, spread the product over the area to be treated.
• Be sure to wash hands carefully before and after applying the solution.
• Apply the product only when your hair and scalp are completely dry.

Dosage

• Apply 1 ml in the morning and another 1 ml in the evening.
• Regardless of the size of the area to be treated, the total daily dose should not exceed 2 ml.

Composition

The active substance in Alopexy 2% Solution is minoxidil (2%). The other substances in this medicine are gamma-cyclodextrin, propylene glycol, 96% ethanol and purified water.

Warnings

Use extra caution if you have or have had decreased blood pressure (hypotension), or any cardiovascular condition or cardiac arrhythmias such as tachycardia, chest pain, feeling faint or dizzy, unexplained weight gain, or signs of water/sodium retention (swollen hands or feet). In such cases, you should consult a doctor before starting to use minoxidil. There should be monitoring at the beginning of treatment, and on a regular basis after.

Possible side effects

The most common side effects are local skin reactions at the application site such as local irritation, exfoliation (removal of dead skin cells), itching, skin redness, dermatitis, dry skin and pain. If you experience side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

How to store

Store this medicine out of the sight and reach of children. There are no special storage conditions for this medicine. After first opening, the solution should be used within a month.
