Adults, the elderly, and children aged 12 and over:
Consume five to 10ml every two to three hours. Avoid exceeding four doses in any 24-hour period.
While guaifenesin won't stop you from coughing completely, it will help your body eliminate excess mucus by making your cough more productive.
Because this medicine contains guaifenesin, which is an expectorant, avoid giving this medication to children below the age of 12. Also, avoid taking Bell's Healthcare Mucus Cough Oral Solution if you:
Have a sensitivity to any of the ingredients.
Are at risk of seizure.
Have diabetes mellitus.
Experience poor circulation issues.
Are in shock.
