Paracetamol Sandoz 1 g | 30 tablets

Paracetamol Sandoz 1 g contains the active ingredient paracetamol. It is an analgesic and antipyretic drug (analgesic and antipyretic). Paracetamol Sandoz 1 g is used for mild to moderate pain in osteoarthritis of the hip and knee in adults and in adolescents aged 15 to 18 years. Each tablet contains 1 g of paracetamol.

Directions for use

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this package insert or as told to you by your doctor or pharmacist. Always use the lowest active dose to relieve your symptoms.

Dosage

• Adults and adolescents 15 years and older (over 55 kg body weight): Start with half a tablet (500 mg paracetamol) and, if necessary, 1 tablet (1 g paracetamol); the maximum daily dose is 4 tablets (4 g paracetamol).
• After taking half a tablet of Paracetamol Sandoz, you should wait at least 4 hours before taking the next dose, even if symptoms return more quickly.
• After taking a full tablet of Paracetamol Sandoz, you should wait at least 6 hours before taking the next dose, even if symptoms return more quickly.

Composition

Each tablet contains 1 g of paracetamol. The other substances in this medicine are povidone K-30 (E 1201), pregelatinized starch (corn), sodium starch glycolate (type A) and stearic acid (E 570.

Warnings

Contact your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine in case of regular use of large amounts of alcohol, liver problems, Gilbert’s syndrome, kidney problems, hereditary deficiency of a certain enzyme called glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, abnormal breakdown of red blood cells, lack of total body water (dehydration), underweight or chronic malnutrition, asthmatic patients sensitive to acetylsalicylic acid.

Possible side effects

Like any medicine, this one can have side effects, although not everyone gets them. Possible side effects include allergic reactions, certain blood disorders, allergies, abnormal functioning of the liver, rash, itching, sweating, redness, hives (hives), depression, confusion, shaking, headache, blurred vision, swelling due to fluid retention (edema), bleeding, stomach pain, diarrhea, feeling nauseous, vomiting, dizziness, general feeling of unwellness, fever, feeling drowsy.
