Strepfen Honey-Lemon lozenges contain flurbiprofen. Flurbiprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory properties. Strepfen Honey Lemon is used to relieve symptoms of sore throat such as sore throat and pain and swelling of the throat and difficulty swallowing in adults and children over 12 years of age, for a short period of time.

Ingredients

• The active substance in Strepfen Honey-Lemon is 8.75 mg of flurbiprofen.
• The other ingredients are macrogol 300, potassium hydroxide, lemon flavor, levomenthol, honey, liquid glucose and liquid sucrose.

How to use Strepfen Honey-Lemon?

Take 1 lozenge in the mouth and suck it slowly. Always move the lozenge around in the mouth while sucking. The lozenges should begin to work within 30 minutes. Thereafter, use 1 lozenge every three to six hours, as needed. Do not take more than 5 lozenges per 24 hours.

Warnings

Do not use Strepfen Honey-Lemon for more than 3 days unless your doctor tells you to. If you do not get better or if your condition worsens or new symptoms appear, contact a doctor or pharmacist. Do not give these lozenges to children under 12 years of age. You should not use Strepfen if you are allergic to flurbiprofen or any of the substances in this medicine.

Possible side effects

Like any medicine, Strepfen Honey-Lemon can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Side effects may include dizziness, headache, irritation of the throat, mouth sores or pain in the mouth, sore throat, discomfort or unusual sensation in the mouth (such as warmth, burning, tingling, prickling, etc.), nausea and diarrhea.

Store Strepfen Honey-Lemon out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use this medicine after the expiration date. That can be found on the package after EXP. There it says one month and one year. The last day of that month is the expiration date. Keep it in the original packaging.
