Strepfen Spray Honey and Lemon is a spray for oromucosal use for the symptomatic relief of sore throat such as pain, difficulty swallowing and swelling, for a short period of time.

Directions for use

• Adults 18 years of age and older: one dose of 3 sprays to the back of the throat every 3 to 6 hours as needed, up to a maximum of 5 doses in 24 hours.
• Do not use this medicine in children or adolescents under 18 years of age.

Ingredients

• The active ingredient in Strepfen Spray Honey and Lemon is flurbiprofen. One dose (3 sprays) contains 8.75 mg flurbiprofen, which is equivalent to 16.2 mg/ml flurbiprofen.
• The other substances in this drug are: betadex, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, citric acid monohydrate, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), sodium hydroxide, honey flavor (contains flavor(s), flavor preparation(s) and propylene glycol (E1520)), lemon flavor (contains flavoring(s), flavor preparation(s) and propylene glycol (E1520)), N,2,3-trimethyl-2-isopropylbutanamide, sodium saccharin, hydroxypropylbetadex and purified water.

Warnings

Do not use Strepfen Spray Honey and Lemon if you are allergic to flurbiprofen, other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), aspirin or any of the other substances in this medicine. If you notice any of the side effects, stop taking it and consult your doctor. Also consult a doctor if your symptoms do not lessen or get worse after 3 days.

Like any medicine, Strepfen Spray Honey and Lemon can have side effects, although not everyone gets them. Possible side effects include dizziness, headache, throat irritation, mouth sores, pain or numbness in the mouth, sore throat, mouth discomfort, nausea and diarrhea. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any of these or other side effects.

Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use Strepfen Spray Honey and Lemon after the expiration date. Do not store in the refrigerator or freezer. Do not use this medicine for more than 6 months after first use.
